FourC to host Washington State Supreme Court Candidate Forum

Sequim, WA - The Concerned Citizens of Clallam County (FourC) group will host a candidate forum on July 26, 2010 for the Washington State Supreme Court candidates. The forum will be held at the Boys and Girls Club in Sequim, WA starting at 7 p.m.

Judicial candidates speaking will include Justice Richard Sanders, Incumbent; Charlie Wiggins, Challenger; Justice Jim Johnson, Incumbent; Stanley Rumbaugh, Challenger; and Bryan Chushcoff, Challenger.

The meeting will continue with an informative and entertaining presentation by National Syndicated Radio Host Mike Siegel, who will share the importance of the 2010 elections and citizens' involvement.

Judges are an extremely important part of the governance of our state and nation.  Many people either ignore or do not understand how rulings from the bench can affect their lives.  Supreme Court Justices hold the highest judicial office in Washington State.   Be an informed voter by knowing the candidates.

Additionally there will be information available about the Library Levy, and the Clallam County Democrat and Republican Parties will have tables with information on their respective platforms.

Everyone is invited to attend; bring other concerned citizens to join you. Your neighbors, friends and families are always welcome.
