State Attorney General Rob McKenna Speaking at FourC Meeting in Sequim

Sequim, WA - State Attorney General Rob McKenna and two US Congressional candidates will be speaking at the May meeting of Concerned Citizens of Clallam County – FourC. The meeting will be held on May 24, 7:00 p.m. at the Boys & Girls Clubs, 400 Fir Street in Sequim.
Attorney General McKenna will explain why he and 19 other state attorneys general filed a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of the health care legislation passed earlier this year. Mr. McKenna will also share additional issues and opportunities that our state is facing this year and beyond.
Doug Cloud and Jesse Young, both of Gig Harbor, are vying for the 6th congressional seat currently held by Congressman Norm Dicks. Each candidate will be given the opportunity to present his platform on issues that are vital to our state and nation. There will be an open session preceding their presentations, giving citizens an opportunity to share their concerns with the candidates.
FourC is a non-partisan group dedicated to preserving our freedoms and liberties through education and involvement in local, state and national issues. Since its inception in June of 2009, more than 500 people have now become participants in the group. Meetings are held the fourth Monday of each month at the Boys & Girls Clubs in Sequim and open to the public.
