Skills Center building to get dedication

(Port Angeles) – The new North Olympic Peninsula Skills Center gets it’s official unveiling tomorrow. Students actually started attending classes in the new building near the old Lincoln School on Monday.

The center is cooperative effort between five local school districts, Peninsula College and the Clallam County Economic Development Council.

Along with classes on various vocational and technical training, some of the classes can earn college credit. The EDC is using the facility as a business incubator.

The building is being dubbed the “Lincoln Center” and the ribbon cutting is set for two pm tomorrow.
