Main Street expert helps form Downtown planJune 29th, 2005 - 2:44pm (Port Angeles) -- A National Main Street expert says Downtown Port Angeles can be a vibrant, welcoming showcase for visitors from all over the world. Sheri Stuart of the National Main Street Center worked with a large group of civic leaders and Downtown Port Angeles supporters this week. Stuart says more than 85 people attended Monday night's community visioning process -- a work session for all the participants. Stuart then took all the information and developed a written vision statement with goals and objectives for the Downtown Association work plan process. Arla Holshuh, Director of the Port Angeles Downtown Association, says the next step is to present all the information to the Board, which will adopt all or part of it. |
