Sequim, WA - The North Olympic Discovery Marathon is right around the corner, and organizers are looking for volunteers who would like to help stage the event.

Registration for this 3rd annual race June 12th is up by 40% and a few thousand people are expected to be here to take part. There are jobs for just about everyone, from buddies to timers, chip removers and greeters. Some of those volunteer opportunities are in Sequim, others at the finish line in Port Angeles, or along the ODT course. About 50-to-75 people are needed to help, and participants will get a marathon t-shirt. Contact Victoria McDonald at the Port Angeles Chamber of Commerce for more info.
