Citizens Form Watch Group For SARC

A large group of community members have formed a watch group for Sequim Aquatic Recreation Center (SARC). They plan to hold public meetings and act as a liaison between the taxpayers and Parks and Recreation District 1.
With approximately 100 citizens consisting of patrons, non-patrons, retirees, and past and present employees, the group is anxious to keep the SARC facility healthy and open to the public in every way, including complete access to budget matters.

Warren Coleman, chair of the group, invites the public to their first meeting which will take place in February. Notification of the meeting date and time will be published in the local newspapers.
Coleman, Vice-Chair David Jackson and Secretary Susan Young are non-employees and will be accessible to the public.
