(Port Angeles) – About 28 percent of the ballots are back for the general election in Clallam County. Auditor Cathy McKeown says about 11-thousand of the 40-thousand ballots have made it back to her office. Last fall at this time nearly 35 percent of the ballots had come back. Voters have until Tuesday to return their ballots or have them postmarked. The general election is being conducted entirely with mailed-out ballots.
